Favorite artists make the world go round:

Every time I write a journal entry, I feel absolutely stupid, so I'm compelled to add a new one to fix the embarrassment of the old one, but really, I get nowhere and this is going to be erased soon ...

Art is beautiful, did you now? And that's not even the right word for it.

For all the complaints about dA (and you know they're there), really, what would we do without it?

I didn't realized it'd been so long since my last journal, which wouldn't matter except it makes me feel like a ghost here. So. A plug!

I always thought that favs were better than comments. Like they were a bigger compliment. But it seems like a fav just requires you to click a button and put your stamp of approval. It's a quick and easy statistic but it's so anonymous and not-saying-anything. So after realizing the sort of ambivalence that comes with seeing a "___ added ___ to his favorites" message, I'm starting to think that artists prefer comments.

Hmm.

It's been a while. 599 Deviations, 134 messages to sort through. I'm not sure I really want to . . . But then, imagine all the great art I'm missing. *sigh*

I finished the second of two drawings for Studio Art this morning. Rushed through it last night, though, so I'm a little irritated at myself for that. But they're done!
